In recent years, I’ve had the privilege or working and being around a bunch of geeks & geekettes, people with a real passion for the web who know much more than I do about it too! I adored working with these professionals of the trade and really appreciated the experiences we shared together. Although I’ve been earning a living off marketing since 1996, the Web has now become the point of departure for me and not the destination. Marketing has been so rapidly transformed by the arrival of the Web 2.0 and all the social media. It’s been totally captivating to learn so many new things about how to work your way through a conversation with your clients.
I created this blog so that I could live the web experience in all its dimensions on my own. I registered for some training on Wordpress with Diane Bourque, who specialized in that area. I read a lot of stuff about personal branding, I created a bloglist and here I am ready to plunge into the blogosphere. I hope that this new way of revealing who I am on the web will please you and that you will see my true self in all its authenticity and energy. I’ll be blogging about Marketing & me.
Obviously, I’m hoping that I will gain a few subscribers along the way. My space on the Web, as modest as it is, is an exciting opportunity for me to keep myself in the stream of things and aware of what is happening on the web in a very personal way. I hope to share those thoughts with you now that I have my own place to blog!
